July 2008
I just got to ask you this: Is security bugs just normal bugs? Or should they be treated special?
The reason I ask, is because of a statement made by Linus Torvalds in a discussion on the Linux kernel mailinglist just a few days ago.
So I personally consider security bugs to be just "normal bugs". I don't
cover them up, but I also don't have any reason what-so-ever to think it's
a good idea to track them and announce them as something special.
Finaly! I got my site up and running with the totally wicked cool Drupal 6. A long awaited upgrade, atleast I feel that way, since Drupal 6 has so many awesome new features (not to mentioned here). A big leap from Drupal 5.2
The upgrade went smooth, with only one hickup. So what was the recipie for my success you may ask. Oh, guess what. I'm about to tell you.
Drupal is a finalist for the SourceForge 2008 Community awards in not less than 5 categories.
- Best project
- Best project for Enterprise
- Best project for Educators
- Best Tool or Utility for Developers
- Most Likely to Change the World
Sweet!
Well, this is kinda offtopic. But here is a video I recorded one night at sea. It wasn't easy to sleep that night.
Wow, a new post! Sick!
It's almost one year since I joined the norwegian navy, not entirely by my choice. But stil.
It has been a fun year, actually so fun that I'm gonna sign up for one more year. The only difference is that this year I'm gonna get paid, and have a social life.
Does that mean I will start posting here more often? Probably, but no promises.
So, you might wonder what makes a computer geek join the navy.
